Session 1: Welcome to Ni-Pa Yon

GM: Mick
Ziggs – Zabrak Tracker and Sharpshooter (Michael)
Squiddy – Droid Co-pilot (Scott)
Kalisari – Human Fresh faced Medic (Courtney)
Rikkard – Human Travelling Salesman (James)
Krom – Barabel Ship’s Muscle (Jase)
Xiico – Verpine Privateer (Dominic)

Upon Arrival on Ni-Pa Yon, the Pyrite Wyrm is wrenched out of hyperspace due to safety measures. They ship lurches into sub-space and the passengers and crew are greeted with the sight of a mine-field surrounding the planet. Squiddy begins his scanning, and Xiico proceeds to “fly casually” towards the “opening” in the field and the Victory Class Star Destroyer standing overwatch.

The ship lands on the planet without incident, the passengers and crew are then subjected to an hour and a half wait while Imperial Customs search for contraband.

After their wait, the crew head to a local cantina, where the Barabel almost starts a fight, and Xiico exclaims that it would be almost classed as entertaining on a Frontier World (with Squiddy tearing up the dance floor, and a mysterious human coming up to Xiico and Kalisari to leave a mysterious data cube, before running off to get shot by a storm-trooper squad)

The group head back to the Pyrite Wyrm, are accosted by a Reporter, and learn about the troubles in the Empire (though Xiico tries to imply that acts of terrorism are wrong regardless of source, and debates with the reporter that “how can you start a war, if only one side has a nation to stand behind”) After the Reporter leaves (a human called Jek Perkins), Squiddy scans the ship, finds some bugs (Xiico prefers the term unauthorised listening devices) and the group then decrypt the data from the mysterious data cube which was slipped to Kalisari.

The PCs discover there is a political refugee who needs to be transported off planet. They setup a meet, and head to the contact. Discovering a bounty hunter has tailed them, the group set Krom on the hapless bounty hunter. A short interlude occurs where Xiico and Squiddy misinterpret the “rules of engagement” around the interrogation of sentient beings (where Squiddy shoves a plasteel light bulb into the captive bounty hunter)

More investigations, and the PCs find out there is a bounty on the “package”. The group then sets about planning how they would transport the package away. (Squiddy and Xiico plan on stealing the bounty hunter’s ship, and performing a switch between the package and Kalisari)

Session ended there, as the PCs begin to plan.

Xiico doesn’t talk like that… he doesn’t have an accent :p

Session 1: Welcome to Ni-Pa Yon

What accent?

Session 1: Welcome to Ni-Pa Yon

@Mick, mostly based on your script. ;)

I always imagined Xiico’s accent to be a cross between Short Round (from indiana jones) and Wang’s (from big trouble in little china) with a slight tendency to click at X’s and S’s :)

Session 1: Welcome to Ni-Pa Yon

For sure! Do that!

I wasn’t that long ago, week after week, I made everyone put up with my attempt at French!

Session 1: Welcome to Ni-Pa Yon

All you’d have to say is, “Dr Jones!” to drop into the accent.

Session 1: Welcome to Ni-Pa Yon

dude no… it’d be Dr Kalisera wouldn’t it?
or Dr Johnns
